For us, a better product starts with a product you wear for a long time.
Our apparel is designed for movement, comfort, and real use. We think about fit, fabrics, technical details, and versatility to create pieces that are not built around a passing trend.
The goal is not to produce more. It is to produce better.
Materials
Materials chosen with care
We choose materials based on performance, comfort, durability, and impact.
Some of our products use recycled fibers such as recycled polyester when they meet our technical standards. Other pieces prioritize resistance, stretch, breathability, protection, or feel depending on the intended use.
For us, a material is only a better choice if the final product is comfortable, useful, and durable.
Production
More thoughtful production
We develop our products with specialized partners who can meet the demands of technical apparel: fabric selection, construction, finishing, fit, and quality control.
As a young brand, we move with intention. We plan our quantities carefully, avoid unnecessary surplus when possible, and aim to build lasting relationships with our partners instead of chasing the cheapest option.
As LIBE grows, our goal is to improve material traceability, better document our supply chain, and keep making better choices season after season.
Community
Giving back to the outdoors
LIBE gives 1% of its profits to local organizations that help young people access mountain biking and the outdoors.
Because the outdoors should be a space for freedom, confidence, and discovery. Not a world reserved for a few.
We are a brand born from community. Part of our role is to help that community grow.
Designed and tested in Québec
LIBE is imagined, developed, and tested in Québec, in the conditions that inspire our products: muddy trails, cool days, long rides, evenings at the chalet, and imperfect moments outside.
Our products are made to support a real active life, not just a perfect image of the outdoors.
Transparency
Where are LIBE products made?
Our products are designed and tested in Québec, then produced with specialized partners selected for their technical apparel expertise.
We know that producing clothing has an impact. That is why we want to move with more transparency, improve our quality control, better understand our supply chain, and make better choices as the brand grows.
Are all your products made with recycled materials?
No. Some pieces use recycled or lower-impact materials when those materials meet our standards for performance, comfort, and durability.
We would rather be honest than use words that simply sound good. A responsible product should first be useful, durable, and actually worn.
Why not make everything locally?
We would like to explore more local options over time. For now, some technical garments require fabrics, construction methods, and production expertise that are not always accessible locally at our scale.
Our local commitment also lives in other ways: LIBE was born here, tested here, shaped by a local community, and part of our profits is reinvested into local initiatives.
